Orchard has been around for 10 years and has a rich history dating many decades longer. Read below to learn more about our story.

In 2011 the pastors of Littleton Bible Chapel (LBC) began focused discussion and prayer regarding their church growth strategy. After over 50 years of the Lord’s faithfulness to LBC, it became clear that action was needed in order to continue responsible stewardship of the people and ministry potential he had provided.

While considering various options, the pastors were driven by a strong desire to maintain important LBC distinctives, such as biblical eldership, every member ministry, a mission focus, expository preaching, and dynamic participation during the celebration of the Lord’s table. Ultimately these factors, coupled with the rich history of LBC church planting overseas, resulted in a decision to plant another local church. They also decided that the leadership for this new church would be provided by sending some of the existing pastors: Reed Taussig, Nathan Ayres, and Lars Anderson.

In September 2014, a second LBC site was launched at our current meeting location in Centennial. Over a coordinated period of two years the ministries between the two sites transitioned into their own. In September 2016 Orchard Bible Church was officially launched.

We marvel at God's grace and his faithful provision. We are thankful for the heritage of those who have gone before us, and whose labors have provided a solid foundation upon which to build.

Soli Deo Gloria!
