I Corinthians 15:3 “… that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures”
Children between 3 to 12 yrs old are invited to this wonderful weekly program involving high-energy evenings, fun with peers, opportunities for discipleship, and learning from God's Word! For kids 12-18 yrs there are also youth leadership opportunities to serve in the program and undergo more serious study.
We meet every Wednesday evening during the school year (9/4/24-5/7/25), taking a few weeks off around Christmas and spring break. We begin the night with a free dinner for the whole family from 5:15-6:00 pm, and then officially begin the program at 6 pm until 7:30 pm. During this time, parents are welcome to enjoy a night out, relax, or you could serve alongside us! There is also a women’s Bible study at this time (see https://www.orchardbible.org/connecting-women).
AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed and focuses heavily on scripture memorization and Bible study. In addition to study, we have a blast with games, singing, and interactive lessons. The program involves the following four groups:
- Cubbies – 3 and 4 year olds, focusing on familiarizing with Bible stories.
- Sparks – Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, focusing on scripture memorization.
- Truth and Training (T&T) – 3rd through 6th Grade, focusing on Bible study.
- Youth Leader (Trek/Journey) - 7th through 12th Grade (Contact JJ for availability: kd0fpy@gmail.com)
Note: registration fees are $40 for the entire year, but can be waived if funds are a limitation: Bryan@orchardbible.org
