“...to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:12-13
Regardless of life circumstances all women have a central need for the gospel, fellowship and encouragement to grow in their Christian life. We encourage all women to participate in the Connecting Women ministry and to serve in the church body in some capacity as in serving, we form deeper relationships with each other and are drawn closer to our Lord.
Our goals are to connect women
To God
...through Bible studies taught by women for women so that our love for the Lord Jesus Christ increases and we become more godly examples of Christian life.
...through women’s prayer groups that meet regularly each month.
To the church
...by providing a clear entry for service at Orchard for women to use their gifts
...by providing mercy ministries to our local body
To other women
...through encouraging loving connections among women of all generations and life situations
...by providing an effective framework for creating women’s activities
