THE MANNISHNESS OF MAN

“What is man, that you are mindful of him?” (Ps 8:4). This question
challenges each person to think hard about what it means to be
human. Does humanity hold a special place in God’s created world?
Or are we simply the product of matter, energy, time, and chance?
Theologians, scientists, and philosophers have offered answers
according to their separate interests. What do they say? How do they
know? Who can we believe? Does it matter? Do you matter?
