1. Self-invented worship of false gods (4:4-5)
“Ignorance creates its own gods, enthusiasm and deceit promotes them, and human self‐deception worships them.”
2. Self-deluded rejection of warnings from God (4:6-11)
“Wise people allow themselves to be interrupted by God.”
God’s warnings through:
o Famine (v. 6)
o Drought (v. 7‐8)
o Crop failure (v. 9)
o Pestilence (v. 10)
o War (v. 10)
o Destruction (v. 11)
3. Every choice you make has an end result (4:12-13)
