Revealing Jesus in everything we say (and pray)

This Sunday 1/8 is our monthly prayer meeting for local evangelism or you could think of it as our monthly prayer meeting for revealing Jesus in everything we say at work, in the neighborhood, at school, and in our homes. Last week Nate did a great job of pumping me up (picture the Broncos about to run out of the tunnel) for this prayer meeting and for Revealing Jesus in everything I say.  For those who missed it, you can listen to the sermon here.

Here is an excerpt (that I have modified slightly) from John Piper that I hope pumps you up as well!

"It would be a mistake to infer that all Christians should quit their jobs to become missionaries or pastors or full-time relief workers. That would be a fundamental misunderstanding of where the war is being fought...You don't waste your life by where you work, but how and why."

So brothers and sisters, as you seek to reveal Jesus in everything you say, come and join the saints Sunday morning at 8:30 to pray for how and why you live and work this side of heaven.
