An Extra Hour to Pray for Those Who Need HIM Most

Please join your brothers and sisters in Christ this Sunday (11/6) at 8:30 am to pray for those who need prayer most. The lost need Christ - like we need Christ. They are blind to their perilous position and need light in their lives to show them the Savior.

Romans 10:13-14 states "for 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?"

Will you pray for the lost to hear? Will you share the good news with them? Jerram Barrs in Evangelism like Jesus challenges our proclivity/default to keep to ourselves.

Believers in Christ can, all too readily, desire a kind of cultural isolation. We say, "we are to be separate and so we have nothing to do with those around us. In this way we avoid the calling to be in the world, for we are so intent on keeping ourselves, our fellow believers, and our children "pure" and "apart" from anyone whose thinking and life is not exactly like our own...However it is precisely this world to which the Lord sends us; it is such people whom the Lord calls us to live among, and he calls us to reach out to them-whether we want to hear such a calling or not. Even the most surface reading of the New Testament makes it clear that this is the church's task all through the present age.

So sleep in an extra hour AND join us this Sunday at 8:30 am as we lift up the lost in prayer and spur one another on to engage and reach the lost.
